I used to use all kinds of face washes and moisturizers. My skin started to react to the chemicals I was putting on it. So I completely switched to facing my face with a warm washcloth (nothing but water) then I use Prairie Fire tallow as my moisturizer on my face and body.
An added bonus is I use the Prairie Fire tallow with Peppermint. I get very few ticks on me even though. I walk through grass fields everyday with my dog. Ticks do not like peppermint. My husband gets them on him all the time despite using chemical sprays on his clothes. You be the judge. I buy the larger jar and it lasts a long time even with every day use.
After trying literally hundreds of bar soaps that don't contain coconut or coconut-derived ingredients, I had almost given up. Every one of them caused red, itchy bumps on my skin. This is the first soap I've found that I can use every day without any irritation or breakouts. I'm so relieved to have finally found a product that works for my extremely sensitive skin. I'll definitely be buying more. Thank you for making such an amazing soap!
Received tallow and wrote to customer service without a reply! Tallow received is in liquid form. We put in fridge, it hardened, but once we removed from fridge back to liquid form! Decided to try this brand, very disappointed. This doesn’t happen to tallow!

Regarding the tallow, what you described is actually normal for pure beef tallow. Because our tallow is made with minimal ingredients and contains no waxes or artificial hardening agents, it naturally becomes softer or even liquid as temperatures rise. (Especially Miami in the summer.) Refrigerating it will cause it to harden again, and if your home is warm, it will soften or liquefy once returned to room temperature. This does not affect its quality or effectiveness.
